Beautiful, but completely forgotten # 1 Billboard Pop Adult hit, "I Never Said I Loved You" by Orsa Lisa (written by Hal David & Archie Jordan).
"I Never Said I Loved You" also peaked at # 6 on Canada's RPM Adult Oriented Pop chart.
Unfortunately, the song barely made a dent in the Top 100 Hit Singles chart in both Billboard and RPM. You'd think, in an age where Dionne Warwick's "I'll Never Love This Way Again" and Melissa Manchester's "Don't Cry Out Loud become Top 10 hit singles, Orsa Lia's "I Never Said I Loved You" should've easily achieved the same feat.

I have been waiting for this to appear for ages - it was used in the Uk for an advert of perfume or something like that - it was played a bit on the radio. It's a beautiful song and deserves wider acclaim. Thanks for this rare gem. Love it to bits xx13 years ago

@ssstate727 This could've easily been a Dionne Warwick.... or Melissa Manchester hit. It's funny, I never heard this song on the radio when I was a kid. I was mostly into top 40 AM radio, at the time. (CHUM AM in Toronto was my main radio station). I missed so much great music by only paying attention to 1 radio station - lol...I guess I didn't know any better at the time. I only discovered Orsa Lia after I purchased Billboard's # 1 Adult Contemporary hits...and. I'm glad I found it.Related Videos
