This is really beautiful - I think it's nice that this tribute album was made. I've been a huge John Denver fan from the start. I saw him in concert only once around the time that he had done "Oh, God", have been to the Rocky Mountains once - but will go again to see the John Denver Sanctuary and watch the Perseid meteor shower. I even wore the granny glasses way back then and still have them. He was a special person - did a lot of good. I miss him. Wish I could go back and do it again. RIP JD.

Nice rendition, I came out to Colorado in the early 70s from the East Coast I never looked back, the mountains called me on a daily basis, cold mountain streams and trout are found in my church.

Yes, and by the by...I love Mary Chapin Carpenter's stamp on this Denver classic...I really think that she is one of the greatest singer songwriter's of the past 25+ years. Anything by MCC would be highly recommended!!! Thanx my friend.

This gem was written by Bill Danoff and Taffy Nivert before they were married. They also formed the Starland Vocal Band. But I agree, there could never be a more extraordinary rendition than John Denver's.
