Congregation and Lead Sails were plagued with uninspired trite radio-friendly bullshit that didn't fit. There are some songs from both that I thoroughly enjoy, but their anti-artistic aims were so transparent. They were not looking to make good music, they were just trying to make "something that sounds kind of heavy for the people that like that and a really catchy chorus for impressionable musically uneducated idiots" the entire time. Lead Sails was probably better than The Curse though.
