You see, the whole 'scene' BS is something new to the metal scene. You can blame all the little twerps wearing tight jeans and doing flips and shit like that at shows for all that garbage. Asmodi is right, in the death metal scene Peter Tagtgren and Hypocrisy are something like Gods and widely recognized as one of the most important bands in the genre. Bands like Hypocrisy and Gorguts just seem under-rated becuase the 'scene' kids have no idea whot they are, but true metalheads know whats what.

Not unknown in the genre, but yes, underrated for what they've done for the scene-- a true innovator. Great band, love 'em. Hope they put out atleast 3 more or so more albums (more would always be welocmed)... I really think they were on to something with Virus though.
