reminds me a bit of matt skibas project Heavens. patent pending was probably one of those albums i heard so many times.people keep attacking kanye and hxlt with negativity. and comparing hxlt to kid cudi. both are nice guys but hxlt knows better. i'm 100% positive he will keep getting better. to me the production is very simple almost comparable to the xx which at first to me were very boring. you gotta let new things grow on you. we are used to the same shit. also, rock was originally black music before the radio didn't want to play negro music on the radio. this is why people associate black people strictly to rap/hip hop, which is ignorant. people can do & try whatever they want and should try to avoid stereotypes and calling people posers, everyone was a poser once. howard jones who made killswitch bigger is one of the best metal singers and he is black. bad brains is an all black punk group and one of the best punk bands to ever existed. plus nwa was very punk to me. at the end just enjoy music people.
