They belong in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Great music and Mark Lindsay could really sing~ Rest in Peace, Paul Revere and thanks for so many wonderful memories of my young years watching you lads on Where The Action Is.

Great American Band- I used to go see them in Tahoe/Reno, even into the 80's. This was "high school" music for me. RIP Paul...

I'm always fuming that the R&R Hall of Shame allows no talent thugs like Public Enemy & Rum DMC in, but great groups like the Monkees & Raiders don't get invited. I suppose they think if you goof a little, smile & have fun while you perform you can't be a serious R & Roller - B.S.! Paul Revere & The Raiders had a golden sound that sounds as good or better today than "back in the day". Thanks for the clip!

Name a group in this day and age that ever wrote lyrics this good. The flat out fact is the decline in education and the over-demand for commercial music(recycled borrowing) not to mention centralizing the industry and good recording, has produced a large number of poor lyrics and some professional handshakers. This song is forgotten but this song is great.
