I have a hard time believing this is an original recording, sounds far too much like a remix. Some of the techniques used in this version hadn't yet been invented back in the very early 80s. The first few bars are of old school electro which was only beginning to emerge from New York in the early 80s. Happy to see some hard evidence though.

I've never heard this version of Being Boiled. The instrument track sounds rather like the re-recording that was included on the Holiday '80 e.p. and subsequently the Travelogue album. But there's something rather "off" about the lead vocal in certain parts of this. I thought it was possibly the BBC Session recording, but after comparing the two, I am certain it's not. I'm inclined to think this might be a cover version cleverly disguised as a Human League recording or possibly a fan-made remix. Does the original poster have an info as to the origin of this recording?
