love this guitarists licks...smooth, clean solos and outro's, intro's.....underrated 80's axman.

it's nice how Picture This was leaning more towards a hard rock sound

I just discovered this song the other day. I was in my favourite vinyl shop here in Ottawa and casually going through a ton of old 45s and this was on the "B" side of the "If this is It" single. Interesting that they put this song as a "B" side for a single from another (their next) album. Any thoughts on this? Needless to say a very good and interesting listen.

Wow, you got to see that show? I actually just found an entire recording of the show here on Youtube, great stuff! I love "Now Here's You" and "Trouble In Paradise" from their first album. Huey Lewis and the News, quickly becoming one of my favorite bands.

Quintessential AOR magic circa 1982....Which was my favorite year for music, along with 1983. This was one of the first contemporary albums that I bought when it first came out. "Picture This" was by far Huey's BEST ALBUM in my opinion. Much more refined than his debut....but not overly commercial or produced. This song is a masterpiece as was this entire album

shorty42able .
I remember when I played this song for the first time. It seemed like it was taking a long time to start. So I turned up the volume. Then my mom and I heard this weird sound, and we both thought it was an airplane coming closer and closer, but it was only the beginning of this song. LOL! But I loved this song, and the drums sounded so cool, and I loved the way Chris Hayes played his solo!

"Now here's you" is the best they did. I used to see all their concerts in the bay area when they were just starting out. I saw their first show at the Old Waldorf in SF and they were called Huey Lewis and the American Express. Their second show was at Stanford University, and after seeing that one me and my buddies wuld hit them all. They used to do their songs twice because they didn't have enough songs to fill a show. When Mario left...so did the soul...and when hayes left ...memories

@Rockfprd2002 - Jacob's Ladder is definitely my fave and always has been. But this is a very close second for me too. Man I can't believe this song is almost 30 years old. TIme is flying like a mother...

I remember my dad would play this song over and over back in the day , when he was divorcing my mom.
