I love this part where they sing. It was kinda weird that they burst out into song again, but I loved it anyways. :) Had this song stuck in my head all day

The best part of this movie is the opening credits where the 15th century italian peasants who work in the castle start exclaiming 'gold!' in the most ridiculous plummy english accents that would shame even the queen. Amazing. gotta love hollywood!

Bruce Willis is an epic epic man... There are a few actors I could think of that have his sense of humor and they all made movies before the '70s ... Hollywood, what the hell happened?

@Spartan9532 Negative sir. The absolutely best scene in this movie is where Hudson is on the bed from the ambulance rolling down the road. He then sees the tollbooth and excitedly cries out "Exact Change?!?!?!?!" I almost pissed my pants.

Word Unheard

The truth is that musicals were big in the 40s and 50s. Not just musicals, but movies that had some singing in them that went along with the scene. Hollywood knows that trends always come back around. The mass majority accepts musicals, but not movies with one or two songs. Hollywood will keep trying, testing the waters until the Fred and Ginger/Frankie and Annette era comes back around. When that happens, I'm sure they'll remake this and all others like it that failed at the box office.

Hudson Hawk was fantastic! It had it all... it was light hearted, clever, whimsical... *sigh... =) They just don't make 'em like that. The world has enough drama-rama thankyouverymuch. Oh! And thanks for posting this charming treasure.
