Hoyt Axton

Hoyt Axton performs "Della and the Dealer" live at the Farm Aid concert in Champaign, Illinois on September 22, 1985. Farm Aid was started by Willie Nelson, Neil Young and John Mellencamp in 1985 to keep family farmers on the land and has worked since then to make sure everyone has access to good food from family farmers. Dave Matthews joined Farm Aid's board of directors in 2001.

Great. who were those backupsingers? The thin brunette in the middle and the one to her left are knockouts. The blonde is cute too but can't see her as well.

The biggest problem with Farmaid is, no matter who was performing the people on the stage behind the performers always looked like had a gun to the head of the performers loved ones whom they were prepared to do some serious damage to if the performers didn't perform well enuf. And all the performers were constantly casting nervous glances at those serious looking folks the whole time they were singing.
