2. Percussion (Kick, Clap, Hat) and Bassline

3. Pad and Accent Sounds

4. FX (Sweeps, Crashes, Impacts)

5. Automation clips

HOW TO BOOTLEG LIKE ROBIN SCHULZ:

STEP ONE: Insert the Track in FL Studio and detect tempo.

It's about 124 BPM. Important: Duplicate the Track two times! Why? We need seperate cutoffs for guitar and vocals!

STEP TWO: Cut out the intro part (guitar) from the first duplicate. The length will be 8 beats. Arrange it. Now assign this sample to a free mixer track. Put a Fast LP Filter on it and automate the cutoff for the wished dynamics.

STEP THREE: Take the second duplicate of the song and cut

out the vocals. Assign them to a free mixer track and add a

Fast LP Filter. Also add a Delay and a Reverb for fading the

vocals better in.

STEP FOUR: Create Pattern for percussion. This can be Kick, Clap, Hat and so on. Also find a fitting bassline.

STEP FIVE: Create a Pad and small melody fitting to the rest of the song. You can use Fast LP to fade the Pad in and out.

You can multiplicate the octaves of the Pad sound. Sometimes it gets more atmosphere by this technique.

STEP SIX - FINAL STEP: Add FX to your Track like Sweeps, Impacts, Crashes, Reverb Kicks, Fill ins ...
