Thanks Warren. Simple great video. I look forward to your other videos. I am learning how to record my piano at home. I just bought an Apogee USB mic (Sorry, I couldn't quite afford anything else right now) and plan on using Pro Tools to record.

Hey Waaren, thank you for this video! I signed up to your mailing list :-) but I don't see where I can find the extended version of this video on other ways and techniques to record a piano. unfortunately I'm in Quebec, Canada and my piano recording requires some attention to sound production! I can't really afford those amazing U87 mics in your video, still I really like your clear style of explaining things. thanks so much for sharing your experience, I'm eager to learn and improve my sound production when I play on pianos. my sound production doesn't give my piano playing justice :-(
