Hey, thanks for these videos, man. I have a problem that I hope you can help me with. So I've been screaming for some months now, and I can do the low and low/mid screams pretty okay. However, when I try to do something even close to a high pitch, my voice comes through and I get this kind of "hardcore-yell" thing going on... At first, I figured it would just take practice, but when I raisy my pitch, my voice takes over and kind of replaces the scream, like I'm just singing with a lot of rasp. Any tips?

After watching the basics tutorial video and now this, I'm clear on a lot of the theory but I have one problem, I find it difficult to physically work out how to properly use the diaphragm, as when I do the vocals, particularly the high screams I get a lot of light-headedness and the main tension feels like it's in my larynx causing a bit of pain around that area, can anyone give me a good description of exactly how to push up from the diaphragm and what it should feel like, 'cause the closest I can get feels like I'm clenching my abs

I just kinda wanted to add a tip for people learning... Try to scream to music you like... It really helps with learning because that's what I did XD.

Hi! I'm a singer (been singing and practicing in around 4 years now). I'm 14 years old and want to be a singer/screamer when I grow up. Would be fun to make some covers on youtube soon too. I got some questions.1: I'm In my voice changing period, so It's hard to do it, but It sounds pretty good. I only do low screams/growling for now. Been learning to control them REALLY good now. My voice is almost not hurting. It's hurting a bit but not much at all. It goes over after a minute or two. Is this normal when you're in the voice changing period, or is this always a normal thing when your screaming/glowling? 2 (the most important question): Is it dangerous for the voice to scream/practice screaming in the voice changing period? Can't talk like a girl because of the voice changing so I can't train high screams yet lol. PS: Nice videos! Helped me a lot!
