SPOILER-ISH: I think the actual season finale should have been something with this kind of vibe. A death, either Wilson or House, beautiful emotional music in the background, and then some beautiful words by some of the characters. I like the actual season finale but it's a bit too open ended and cheery. Even though i like that House actually changed and that he defied his own nature, his own words and syllogisms, i still feel like it wasn't merely as powerful as some of the outstanding episodes the series had.
