Here is the new single House of Shem featuring Big Mountain - "Hard Road".

House of Shem is New Zealand reggae ambassordor Mr Carl Perkins & his two sons Isaiah Perkins & Te Omeka Perkins together they provide production skills, multi instrumentalists & award winning song writers. There first album "Keep Rising" the 2009 release reached gold sales and the song "Thinking about you" has reached over 1 million views on youtube. There follow up album "Island Vibration" released in 2011 continued there success after debuting at #1 on the first day of release on the official NZ charts and Itunes chart , the album was recorded by big time reggae engineer Errol Brown who flew to NZ to record and mixed the album back in Jamaica at Bob Marley's studio "Tuff Gong Studios". House of Shem are currently recording the third album due to be released early 2013.

Big Mountain is an American reggae band, most famous for their cover version of Peter Frampton's "Baby, I Love Your Way," which became a Top 10 hit single in the U.S. in early 1994 reaching number 6 on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100, number-one on Mainstream Top 40, and number 2 in the UK shortly afterwards. Forming members Quino Mcwhinney & younger brother James Mcwhinney flew to NZ in Jan 2012 as part of the Raggamuffin Concert in Rotorua, and were accommodated by House of Shem in Auckland where they recorded and produced Hard Road. Guest musicians on the song include Big Mountain Guitarist Danny as well as on bass guitar is world renowned R&B / Hiphop producer R.Griffen who was known for his role in producing the soundtrack for the 1984 Movie "Beat Street" and producing the hit "The Message" for Grandmaster Flash.
