Hootie and the Blowfish perform "Mustang Sally" with Radney Foster, John Conlee, and Steve Earle at the Farm Aid concert in Louisville, Kentucky on October 1st, 1995. Farm Aid was started by Willie Nelson, Neil Young and John Mellencamp in 1985 to keep family farmers on the land and has worked since then to make sure everyone has access to good food from family farmers. Dave Matthews joined Farm Aid's board of directors in 2001.

Does anything in America ever reach a potential where no one comments? No one criticizes, no one condemns, every one agrees and all find the topic being some thing worth while? Controversy is rampant in this nation...I came to this video to listen to see what quality these guys could add to an already fabulous song. After listening the comment section came up.....and Oh brother all these reviews are no reviews at all just a bunch of people who don't know how to play anything...but a radio...a CD player, or itunes on their cell phones. okay you dumb asses!! he is not now and never has been "hootie" Jesus Christ!!hootie and the blow fish was the bands name.. it was named this because of 2 people they knew from school.. I think one was a teacher that had fat cheeks and looked like a blow fish while the other was a kid that had big eyes and wore glasses that made him look like an owl-- as in hoot!this is what started hootie and the blowfish (or at least the subject matter of it) g.d.!!10 years ago

He started out as HOOTIE so why not call him this. People just making a big deal out of nothing. I would think he would appreciate being called this becuz this would mean the person has been following from the beginning.
