Well Aaron Bruno was the frontman for the band, and his high school friend did the guitar. Aaron started AWOLNATION as a solo project to dump whatever he feels like into and people liked it. To answer your question, no, they have not officially broken up, but they are on hiatus because of how busy Aaron is with AWOLNATION...
