This song contains some of the best lyrics that Courtney's ever written, in my opinion. Very compelling! :)

Quit hanging to the wish that Hole was successful because of Kurt. Eric Erlandson was the genius behind the instrumental part of Hole. Courtney was and is a the poetry behind it all. Get over it.

You said "Kurt's REAL fans *know* it too". That sounds like "saying for sure" to me. Anyway, it is a retarded thing to say; a person could dislike Kurt Cobain and his music and be convinced that he was murdered. Or they could love his music more than anything and not really give a shit how he died, since it doesn't change anything now. You don't need to be obsessed with the person to be a fan of their music. Courtney could be a vile bitch, but she makes wonderful music. That's what I care about.

Me too. The only Nirvana album I'm in love with is Unplugged. Live Through This is just as good...I just wish this song was on it.

They didn't covered Old Age... Kurt 'gave' this song for Courtney on her birthday, and she change the lyrics, but THEY DIDN'T COVER THIS SONG!

Maybe he wrote some of the music, I'd accept that, but I doubt he had anything to do with the lyrics. Her lyrics are completely different to his, she's an extremely distinctive lyricist writer, and all her lyrics have had a distinctive style, from the poems she scribbled when she was a little girl, all the way through to her latest album :)

I beleieve that courtney love is really talented and has worked so hard to get where she was and now has a true right to be known as a legend without her death. I believe she writes all her own music except for asking for it which was her and her husband kurt. Personally speaking I love hole more than nirvana. She's out of the ordinary and her Everyone is so normal "as they put it in the world we live in" why can't we go back in sound and clothes to that dreamland we call art.

You must be mistaken with "He Hit Me". Drown Soda was written by Courtney and Eric.
