Buy this guitar here... http://www.nevadamusic.co.uk/guitar/electric/hofner-club-guitar-ct-contemporary-model-cherry-red#axzz1NvW7MZtn The Hofner Club guitar hails from the 1960's and is officially a semi-acoustic model due to the chambered body, it was a favourite of both John Lennon and George Harrison back then but has now been re-issued as a contemporary model and is depicted here in an attractive Cherry Red finish ...

It uses a Spruce top with the sides made from Laminated Maple, the fret board is Rosewood that uses inlaid dots for fret orientation. There's a "Trapeze" style tail piece whilst the floating bridge is made from Rosewood just like the 22 fret fretboard, all hardware is Nickel plated and it also sports two Hofner Diamond humbucking pick-ups. The pick-ups are managed via a master tone and master volume rotary control that sit each end of 3 "slider" type switches that are used to activate the individual pick-up configurations ...

The cosmetics of this instrument use a Pearloid scratchplate and control panel whilst the body is bound at the edges, the machine heads are Hofners own nickel plated die-cast models and the headstock has an ornate floral design embossed upon it adjacent to the truss-rod cover that bears the name of the instrument ...

Tony Farinha is one of Nevada's local guitar professionals who as well as performing in several bands also offers private guitar tuition for all ages and abilities. Check out his Youtube page for more info.

I know if they made a left-handed model I'd snap up one.

They only ship to mainland Europe. If you aren't in Europe you have to get the instrument shipped to you.

I picked up one of these guitars at a local shop. I love the guitar. It looks amazing and the tonal possibilities are extensive. I do have one problem with it though . . . I cannot seem to find a case for it. The Les Paul cases are not quite deep enough and the E-335/ Dot case, though deep enough, is so big that the guitar slides around in it. Am I going to have to gig bag this thing?

I toured with 2 of these... never needed the one as a backup. Great sound, too. Plugged into an ac30 and had a very Beatle-ish sound. Also, I watched your videos. Your technique needs work, so maybe you should apologize to Salguine.

Well, if thirty-five years of guitar playing counts, then yeah, I'm a guitar player. No, I don't own this guitar, but one of my friends owns a guitar shop here in NYC and we spend a lot of time playing after hours; he has several of these on the wall, and I've played it many times. It's a great little guitar for the money. You just don't know what to do with it.

It disappointed you? What did you expect it to do, you'd just pick it up and "Ticket To Ride" would come pouring out? And what exactly is "a Beatles sound", anyway? That's kind of vague. You know, the sound you get has as much to do with your amp setup as it does with your guitar. The guitar may very well be disappointed in you. And who runs to the repairman for a little chip in the finish? You should sell the guitar and take up stamp collecting or gardening.

Check out one of my videos where I use mine on a distortion setting, it's very surprising how powerful those pickups are.. like REALLY powerful.
