What a great song. My dad always played this on the piano - I wish I could hear that again.

This version was recorded at Star Piano in Richmond, IN. The lead trumpet is my grandfather... he couldn't read sheet music, but he filled in for Mr. Carmichael's lead who was unable to play.

My mother is 99 years old. The one thing she asked me to do recently was to find this version of this song. Thank you so vey much for putting it up. She and I really appreciate it.

I'm 63 now and remember my parents doing the jitterbug to this song all my life at every wedding and event where there was a band to play these old songs. My father would sing this all the time and my mom was just as attached to this melody. Great memories and some great times to cherish they are both gone now but the memories linger on all because we can remember the music and the good times we shared
