Portland-based guitarist Daniel Riddle, a founding member of industrial combo Hitting Birth Family Circus, originally launched King Black Acid as a solo side project, but eventually it became a real band (King Black Acid And The Womb Star Orchestra) with keyboardist Melinda Dicillo, guitarist Roger Campos, bassist Nathan Jorg, drummer Scott Adamo (ex Wipers), percussionist Joe Trump (ex Pigface)

Bohemia Afterdark launched on TVs in 1982 and operated in Phoenix, AZ, but early history is unknown until 1990 when they moved to Portland, Oregon. In 1992 they began airing on KPDX Portland and then they move to KWBP in 1994. In 1995 they began airing on 22 Network One affiliates. In 1997 Network One shut down and the service moved to KOIN and in 2001, the service moved back to Phoenix, airing on KASW, then in 2002, moved to KPHO-TV. In 2003 they got their own station, KPHE-LP, at the time broadcasting on channel 19 in Mesa, Arizona, and changed their name to Bohemia Visual Music. KPHE moved to channel 44 in Phoenix in 2005.[2] Bohemia Visual Music changed their name to 24-7 Videos for a few months from mid-2005 to early-2006, then reverted to Bohemia Visual Music.

Did the Boo Ball at the PDX Train station with Boka Marimba and Hitting Birth was there. Nothing like live perfomance art musical shopping carts and all I wish they were still doing it I think they helped spawn the Portland scene

If I was the director, I would have released this instead of that movie "GO", in the 90's. I would have added that main cute blonde girl in there, and the two naked girls in the hotel of course, but I would have taken everyone else out of the flick.

I attribute a significant portion of my hearing loss to this band. (Get some good music earplugs kids!) Now I'm trying to find a picture of Daniel's fuzzy bass to show my eight year old daughter who's starting lessons. She was bored so I told her about his tricky "technique" of banging on it with the heel of his palm and blowing out PA after PA. Nobody else had that sound. And I always liked the shopping cart!

And additionally, I need to add that as good as this song is, it's not very indicative of them at their peak. They really only used guitars(or any "normal" instrument other than drums) this much towards the end, and one of their instruments was a shopping cart(wired for sound), and I have one they used for a few years. They kicked ass....
