So according to algebra if y=x-3 and y=x+4 then x-3=x+4. So with that logic we can find what a jive really is. Jack was instructed to hit a road and also instructed to hit a jive. If we use the action of jack hitting as y then that would mean y=jive and y=road. With that we can finally figure out that a jive=a road.
