The Download Main Stage is much too big a stage for HIM. They're not the most animated band so they don't really fill it in the same way as a lot of other bands. Having them play in the middle of the day really does;t suit their 'tone' either. However, I was the in '09 (i think) when the headlined the second stage, at night and it was a much better fit for them.

I was there, I was 11 and this was boring as fuck, he had bottles thrown at him and nearly quit the gig. Atmosphere was shocking until Velvet Revolver stepped on the stage and owned it!
