This is my favourite HIM song, no doubt. I want to get a heartagram and "Sweet Pandemonium" tattooed somewhere :P Probably my chest if I ever actually bother to bulk up a bit lol. Awesome band for when I'm feeling mellow. Also the band that really got me into heavier rock and metal :)

@hisinfernalmikko ...so their music is true, they're not trying to please everyone, they're not sell-outs or something. They don't get enough credit because of THAT, HIM's music is not for everyone, but those that do love them, those that they have touched, cherish them in a way that really cannot be described with words. @hisinfernalmikko ...and all lyrics/melodies come from Ville's heart, even if misunderstood, they do what they want to do, they change but not for the sake of going mainstream, I'd never call their stuff mainstream. The newest SW sound may be more poppy, but if you really listen you'll find a lot of darkness there that balances the "hopeful", upbeat sound. They were borrowing from the 80's there, not from their old stuff. And VD was all doom because Ville's life was all doom back then..

@hisinfernalmikko ....they did change a lot since Love Metal, but you can't expect a band to do same old same old every year, they've evovled, experimented...that's normal. For us, their old stuff is better maybe because we got to love them through it, like me 10 years ago. But for some, DL, VD or SW are the crucial albums that introduced them to HIM. VDoom is HIM, DL is HIM, SW is HIM, different but just reflecting the mood of the band, and of Ville ofc....

@hisinfernalmikko If I may join the discussion, I'd like to say a few things. First of all I love all of HIM's albums, but I do have to admit that I love thier pre-Dark Light music more than after-DL. DL offered some amazing songs, like Killing Loneliness, Vampire Heart, Play Dead, then VD had Bleed Well, PKF, SPH..that stood out. Their old stuff however - I love every single song deeply. Screamworks I'm still getting used to, but I love Dying song, TFSOIH, SMWH,.. BUT, what my point is........

"not HIM" well im pretty sure ville wrote those songs and the bands name is on the cover therefore it IS HIM. and saying everything from dark light on is poor,is just your oppinion! i love every single HIM album, for different reasons, bands grow and evolve rarely ever stay the same forever and it does not mean the begin to suck.HIM is incapable of sucking,but again that just my oppinion everyone has threown,theres no need debating over such things,stop complaining ya sound like a music nazi...
