Hijo de la luna - Mecano - Tzeitel Abrego Cover video free download

So excited to share my arrangement of José María Cano's "Hijo de la luna", written for Mecano. Love this incredibly powerful song, and the many lessons it holds. This old legend shows how paths paved by a simple desire to be loved, if we are not careful, can lead to selfishness. A deeply cruel and dangerous selfishness, that blinds us to the suffering of others. This is the sad destiny the moon, the woman, and the man. We need to remember that the ones who pay the biggest price in the end, are the most innocent ones: the children. In this case, the "hijo de la luna", "son of the moon".

I've loved this song for a long time, and not only have been musically influenced by Mecano of course, but also other greats who has sung this piece like Monserrat Caballe, Spanish metal band Stravaganzza, and Sarah Brightman. As always, all instruments are arranged and played by me, as are all the vocals mine as well :)
