Description:

This song is takes place during WWII in Nazi occupied territory. A young girl, confused by the war, seeks refuge from strangers who will suffer the same fate as her if they are caught hiding her.

This song is very dear to me as one of my closest family friends went through the war and watched her mother, father and brother get shot - and the only reason she didn't die that day was because the soldier ran out of bullets.
