Heroin(and other drugs) need to be legalised and seen more as a health problem than a criminal problem. I'm not saying they should sell it in the local supermarket but in some kind of way like on prescription. People don't just wake up one morning and say 'hey guess what, today I will become a heroin addict' Typically, most people that use heroin have an underlying mental health problem or have some kind of issue and heroin numbs those problems. I was on the edge of suicide and then someone showed me heroin route, to this day I don't know whether to thank that person or hate them. If they hadn't given me the heroin then I may have been dead however due to the fact that it took the pain away I kept on using which in turn caused me so many more problems when my money ran out and the effort it takes to score, then your whole life becomes about heroin. If it was legalised there would be a lot less crime(No more dodgy drug dealers, people wouldn't have to resort to crime to feed their habit and it would be much more controlled and regulated) It would be much safer(because heroin itself is not toxic to the body it's just the sh&t it's cut with plus people would know the purity of of what they are getting so less chance of overdose) and also people wouldn't have to spend most of their time trying to score which means there is more chance of them working. I know for a fact that when I take heroin(which I don't any more) without any hassle(such as actually being able to afford it and not having problems scoring) I am a much happier person and any work I need to do gets done (and done much better as well) whether that be at my normal job, for uni, house work or anything, because all of my problems are gone away. Where as now, without the heroin, life is miserable. No amount of counselling and therapy or anti depressants will change that. The only reason I'm off it now is because I was given a choice, heroin or my family and I chose my family, despite them not having a clue what it feels like for me, the misery and having to cope with my past I still chose them. But if heroin was seen in a different light and legalised then maybe things would be different. Anyway, that's just my opinion. Awesome song by the way.

Well when your parents are major drug addicts its so easy to get heroin and when you just want to be normal and it feels like no one accepts you that's why I did it

sometimes I listen to this song as a motivation to continue the road through sobriety... heroin is the killer that captures and holds hostage so many young kids and teens... I was one of them. I did heroin for 5 long years through ages 12-17. it sucks and I hope everyone reads this will see how and have the motivation to change.

Progressive and irevesable and once you cross that line with dope you can't go back have seen too many young people friends at that die due to heroin and if I decide to go back to it once again I'm certain I can't livd that lifestyle any length of time again

To the gentleman who said over 50% of heroin consumers are functioning well that's all well in good because you and they have probably only been consuming for a little... H always gets you its just a matter of when been battling it for six years clean now but it was tough either way I've yet to meet anyone and i mean anyone who used continuously that didnt get dependent eventually. . Even tho who go om short runs it still dictates your life... wish it wasnt so because I love the feeling but its
