Howzit Leon, thanks for the post almost 4 years ago! I was scouring the net for a decent copy and all I could find was stuff that sounded as if it had been recorded in 1969 using an open microphone and 2 jam tins connected with bloudraad. And so, 46 years after its recording and all the pubescent groping and "gefoefelling" that it led to on garage party dance floors all around South Africa (and probably the world), I must today, as an old fart sitting halfway around the world in Sydney, resort to the trusty old Springbok Radio to come up with the goods. Man we were lucky to have grown up in those days! Mooi bly, wherever you are, Mike. (or as David Gresham would've said, "Keep your feet on the ground and reach for the stars!"

Great song by Herman's Hermits which isn't really as sad as it first sounds. The song is actually about the singer having high hopes of getting back together with the girl he still loves!... ...then again she might give him the boot again!
