During the mid sixties, Hermans Hermits were second only to The Beatles in terms of record sales, but the band was more than just a pop phenomenon, they crafted some of the most enjoyable music of the era. Hermans Hermits: Listen People 1964 1969 is the groups first official DVD release and features 22 complete songs filmed from 1964 to 1969 that sets the record straight on one of the most underrated bands of the sixties. Included are the classic hits Im Into Something Good, Cant You Hear My Heartbeat, Wonderful World, Mrs. Brown Youve Got A Lovely Daughter, Im Henry VIII, I Am and Theres A Kind Of Hush as well as later masterpieces No Milk Today, Listen People and their cover of Ray Davies Dandy. In between the performances original members Peter Noone, Keith Hopwood, Karl Green and Barry Whitwam talk about the songs and tell the bands history in new interviews filmed exclusively for the DVD. The bonus features include a 24-minute concert filmed in 1966 for Australian television, a commentary track with Keith Hopwood and Karl Green and an additional 15 minutes of exclusive interviews including the bands great recollections about the 1967 Hermits/Who tour.

I think It's true, one of the reasons they were so popular in the USA was because Peter Noone looked a bit like Kennedy, but on this side of the Atlantic he was more like a Frank Spencer.

got my first transister radio in summer of "65" and i remember listening to the top 20 over and over again ........ and "mrs. brown you have a lovely daughter" was the first song that i heard on it! ....... wow, that was a long time ago ..... life goes by too quickly ..... especially when it already ..... WENT BY! .... lol
