There are a few of the mainstream black metal bands for sure but I think as a total genre, it is still relatively unknown outside the few big ones. That's just my experience and what I have seen in my area though.

Excellent song. Thats it, its just a belting track. Black metal is a state of mind. I can listen to gnaw their tongues all night and not achieve this level of passion. The point of black metal is that its for those that what something different. Some people seem to be more interested in shouting down people that do different. These people are not part of the genre.
