this record was in heavy rotation in our house at Christmas time. My folks lovedit very much. And I might add, played on our Viking console style stereo from the late 1960s.

I got this album from my parents while I was at college, about a bazillion years ago. This cut was my favorite then and remains so to this day, for its easy, accessible attitude. The trombone and sax solos don't hurt matters, either. Thanks for posting this!

I noticed this as a kid--someone let out a heavy sigh at the beginning of Bob Edmondson's trombone solo after 1:37, lol. Possibly the drummer or bassist--not sure exactly who they were, since Herb used studio musicians on the albums. I think Bob Edmondson & John Pisano (& possibly Lou Pagani) DID play on all the albums from South of the Border thru The Brass Are Comin', as well as play in the "live band" lineup of the TJB.
