Oh no. Im not cool. Even the music i like ill admit its shit. But its shit i like. Meaning we all listen to shit. But in comparison i believe (a fucking opinion i dont need loose buttholes) DIY music is a bit better next to major labels. I only say this because most major bands rather make a song that is made for a cliche catch rather than a DIY that that make a song on how they want it to sound with no rules how it should sound. I have no underground wisdom.

Any post hardcore band associated with major acts that are commercial wised shown tv, radio, big events such as coachella, warped tour, etc. Are mainstream. Although not all post hardcore bands take place in any of what i mentioned. Well the good ones. Post hardcore has changed during its years. I still consider the first wave is the best bands such as Okara, Slint, Kolya, etc. Todays major post hardcore lost originality and are just clones of each other. Normally mainstream ones

Also there are other bands that are more of a math rock/post hardcore real screamo that are DIY example my buddies band Alta they combine elements of real screamo/post hardcore at its finest experimental and math rock influence. which is not all post hardcore bands are mainstream. Well only the good ones arent well known

Hmmm Alesana is one, A day to remember is another, Saosin, etc. Those bands play in tv, commercials for there album releases. Fucking warped tour which is aired on tv. they are social in the media where its heard on tv and radio. That is mainstream. Unlike this band who didnt get the recognition or attention like those bands id say this band is was more of an independent movement. Not DIY of course. Like I said a post hardcore is mainstream. its pretty obvious

But man, first of all they were way before all the mainstream bands! I guess they were more like underground band and for sure they don't sound like the mainstream bands which are on top right now. Additionally, I think(but it's only my opinion) that if they didn't split out, they would achieve quite much.. if only they have put a bit more time and effort and didn't give up. I really love them yet I'm not calling them the best band in the world..but come on, they've had so much potential!

uh i actually do know my shit. The band was ok. They werent bad as in sucking but they were okay as in average. I dont belive in best bands in the world thats bullshit. I like many bands bt i never have that ignorant "best band in the world" thats stupid baby shit. I treat most bands i like equally. The band is a new generic post hardcore which is ehh. In my opinion i perfer 90s post hardcore and a very few diy post hardcore bands. the band sounds like many mainstream p.h bands of today
