I prefer this one to Nosferatu by a slight margin. Great upload..

Another epic audio gem from the" Remnants of War" album by Helstar. Awesome lead guitar work.

popularity does not dictate quality to me. I was at a Helstar show a couple of years ago with about 20 people in the crowd and they were better than most "big" groups i've seen perform. I love a lot of 80's Metal but Helstar were one of the best and most talented.

I know man, was talking about the today's gear that suck. I have tested many pickups and configurations and they do not compare with the oldies which used to spit out harmonics out of nothing, the same for guitar woods ... as for Helstar at least Nosferatu is far more unique than 95% of the things I've ever heard from that era in many perspectives. You can identify their music instantly and this is not achieved by 3rd class musicians

Sorry, but what's wrong with EMGs ? The best players in 80's played them, Andy La rocque ,Kai Hansen and other guys... It's not that i don't love Helstar, but they're not higher then 3rd class of heavy metal bands of 80's..

Musicians of today, drop your shitty equipment like EMG's and Ibanez's and get some real non-flat sounding guitars, get some alnico hot coils, real amplifiers with their native overdrive/distortion and not a ton of digital knobs and last, abandon this fucking continuous fast arpeg style that sucks. I do not try to present meself as a "mentor" 'n shit, I m just explaining the differences I get between today's music & this song. Listen to the f*cking solo and think the difference ,,,

@darkblaze911 Ripp-off or not, I don't care a fucking shit, but what I do care about is the unbelievable high quality of this band and their genius albums. God, what do I love this band and what do I het sad when I realize that I saw them so few times live and what could they have been BIG after the releases of their first albums.
