Helmut Zacharias, also known as "The Violin Magician" from Germany, was a talented violin player and bandleader who started playing this instrument when he was only 4 years old. He played in bands already at a young age and started to record albums under his own name during the 1950's. He had his own TV show on German television from 1968 to 1973 and was a popular guest in many entertainment productions, both in Germany and elsewhere.

Helmut Zacharias could play the violin in such a way, that often you got the impression that the instrument could "talk" :-) Here we present a superb arrangement of the Bobby Goldsboro hit "Honey" where in fact, at a certain point you nearly can hear the violin "say" "and honey, I miss you" .... as in the original song lyrics.
