This video must have been one of Page Hamilton's trips gone horribly wrong and set to music. And it is awesome! That dude needs to drop acid more often.

Saw them tonight in SLO and they fucking rocked the place. Got in for free since I work there and could have skated, but had to buy a shirt in appreciation of the show they put on.

I'm really glad that some lost classics like "Betty" and Failure's "Fantastic Planet" are getting rediscovered right now. That era was just thick with great, heavy releases and it's like only now are people catching up. Hopefully Hum's "Downward is Heavenward" is next on the docket.

Saw them this past Saturday. One of the best shows I've been to!

I am excited for the Helmet show on St. Paddy's Day in Ferndale, Mi. I will be reliving (the 90's) my high school years

Crossing an item off my bucket list: got tickets to see Helmet live in February. They're touring for the anniversary of Betty - the first set is the entire album, top to bottom, followed by an encore set from the rest of the catalog.

You know what genre I think this band is? It is called who-the-fuck-cares? If you are listening to this song, you realise this band is brilliant and heavier than half the crap out there so stop trying to find a label to put it into and jut enjoy it. Does it matter what type of metal it is? As long as you enjoy it, that is all that matters.
