I`ll give them credit when it is due. Here is a well crafted folk version of the Iron Maiden original. The lyrics are sung with proper melancholy that pays homage to the original rather than butchers it. Not like the other Iron Maiden covers.

You have to listen to this song with your mind detached from the original. The original is a classic and a legend, this cover ist highly artistic and creative. And that's exactly the essence of a great cover. Everyone woho does not know Iron Maiden but only Hellsongs should check out the original Maiden version - maybe you discover an awesome band (with even better songs) or the magic of metal in general.

Sounds nice but this is the wrong maiden song to cover that way. The trooper lives of it's rough sound and powerful vocals. This version misses the power it needs to present a war scenario. They should rather have covered something like fear of the dark, dance of death or hallowed be thy name.
