in the 1980s it wasn't "cool" to have a chick in a metal band the only bands that had females in them were usually pop rock bands or else bands that was using the girl as a gimmic...at least that's what everybody thought

The singer/keyboard player is Ann Boleyn. After the band kicker her out of the band, the male members went on to form Burn. Ann Boleyn reformed Hellion and got Chet Thompson on guitar, who many people regard on the same level as Yngvie or Randy Rhodes. A while later the original members like the drummer, aand the two guitar players, came back and played in Hellion again. For a while they had three guitar players like Iron Maiden.
