There are three versions. My favorite is one that was produced by Ken Scott (who also produced Missing Persons, Super Tramp, David Bowie, etc.) There is a bootleg Cd called "The Witching Hour." In my opinion that demo has the best vocals of Boleyn of any of the recordings.

i owned an online metal channel called hardrock&metalmp3 on irc and i looked for this song for 13 years....this version ...and someone found it for me...ived heard as much heavy metal as anyone in my 55 years and this is the best song ive ever heard....i love you ann....if you only knew how many times ive played this...it will be playing at my funeral

There are three studio recordings of this song. There is another one on "Screams In The Night" LP. And there was another demo that was produced by Ken Scott (legendary producer). I would love to get a copy of the Ken Scott version of The Hand. If anyone has a copy of it e-mail me.
