I miss the younger Helen...although the one performing today's okay too...just, well...a bit older. Same twinkle in her eye, esp.when performing, "Angie Baby."

This song frightened me as a 5 year old. I remember her singing it on Carol Burnett while actors in the background acted out scenes from the song. It was scary but I couldn't stop watching. Memories.....

This was such a Great and Classy Song........Helen Reddy had a lot of Class. I'll stay with this kind of singing.......the Beach Boys, Carpenters and songs that have feeling and good taste........Thank God that there are still some People in this World that have some class in music.

My mother loved Helen Reddy. I remember hearing it on the car radio all the time.

Yes, Helen gave up Fame, and she is not alone. Many Hollywood actresses also "left the limelight" and left their careers for normalcy, and to live out the rest of their lives in peace and real happiness. America loves/d this queen of pop there have been no imitators that have ever come close to her genius!

Because she wants it that way...she donated all her awards and her Grammy to the Australian museum of music, had all her assets auctioned off for charity. She lives a frugal, retired lifestyle in a condominium, by choice which is financed through he pension investments...she took it upon herself to walk away from it all in 2002, and is quite happy living a "normal" lifestyle. Today she is an accredited hypnotherapist.
