I honestly never thought this album was bad, it's just not as good as Dead Ends, like really. But people saying this is terrible are fouls.

Whatever you think about the new style of Heights, the simple fact remains that they're actually doing and working hard to do what 90% of you wish you could do. They're in a band that gets to tour the country on a regular basis, they're making the music they want too, and they're doing it all on their own terms. Personally, i think the new stuff is sick, and i think Alex's voice is really unique and different. It also helps that he's one of the nicest guys i've ever met. Dead Ends was awesome, but so is this album. Just give it a chance.

This is so weak man.. I hated heights after how they treated Thom, and for no other reason. So I watched this with as open a mind as I could, I felt so disapointed at the end of the track! Vocally it feels weaker to me, old heights heads should think about whether they actually like where heights are headed musically or still riding off Thom's legacy. Which is obviously still a heated topic. Listening to old heights material against the new is almost painful, I just wonder what could've been.

Alex is actually fierce live, can I just say. Met the dude as well, absolutely lovely and genuine. And the lyrics with him, well, they match pretty much everyone else's in the scene right now.

the themes of the new heights are a lot more about the truths of life and social themes. the singer displays it with his grungy/dirty vocals. this is a hell of a lot more darker than their debut which was cray enough as it was. if you just listen to this while alone or driving youll be surprised about how it sounds so much more different. take a sec to appreciate it bruzz.
