Heavens is a band I learned existed through a girl I was with years ago... a heavy, involving relationship. I remember seeing a poster on her wall before we started getting serious. It said, "Love Will Tear Us Apart," and depicted a morbid, bloody scene. I'm assuming the poster was for Joy Division. I wasn't even aware of the song, let alone that band at the time. Now I realize the direct reverberation between the song and our time together. While lust brought us together, love tore us apart.

Personally I like Alkaline Trio better, but Heavens is a perfect thing to listen to during a long drive in the night... Well that's what it reminds me of anyways. It's car music. And night music. Chills me OUT.
