Lol, i kno there's bass, just inaudible, i was being a bit sarcastic. But still, its as good as non existant. And all he does is follow the rhythm, which is tough i kno, but still very different from what Cliff's role was.

AJFA had no bass in it, lol, or it sounds like it. And yes, we should stop mentioning Metallica in every other metal video.

They went the AJFA route because of Cliff, both in mood and the technicality. They played darker because of the pain they experienced of just losing a person who was a bandmate/touring brother and a huge creative influence. Cliff can NOT be overrated in terms of influence and impact made as well as his innate talent. There may be many bassists who have proven themselves more technically proficient, but Cliff just had 'IT'. For an example of Metallica without a Cliff influence, look at post-AJFA

Your pathetic narrowmindedness is evil in my religion.

There is no period in Western history that changed our society so much than the decades sixties and seventies. And there wouldn't have been metal or punk without. The masters of mankind was appalled, so they have done anything possible to stop people from becomming so political. They were affraid of too much democracy. No generation changed as much as the hippies. I think you should study this yourself. Even I can find some good things the Nazis did, even though I am ideologically against them.

Because someone mentioned Metallica.

@flanker2020 Who gave this idiot thumbs up (his comment is idiotic)? "The hippies" did really change a lot. Even heavy metal grew out of some of the hippie ideals. I am neither Christian nor atheist, but I think I am a hippie, if hippie means that I actually care about the world, which partly is owed to my parents being hippies and quite political. What you say is the opposite of a hippie - complaining and doing nothing.

Eh, I could understand the arguement being on a big 4 video, or even one of the lesser big thrash bands like exodus, testament, etc... But Heathen? What have heathen got to do with Metallica?

@drawer1995 Yep, very true. Every Metallica fan I ever encountered jumps that goddamn Cliff bandwagon and they don't pay attention to the music itself and realize how much darker Justice sounded compared to the rest of their albums.

@MetalAttack1986 Not Imo. Justice was more badass then RTL. Cliff is overrated tbh.

@drawer1995 no, they got a bit gay after Cliff died

@MetalAttack1986 Grass, though! Justice is my favorite album! But I have to say they got a bit gay after they kicked Dave out. But w/e

@drawer1995 1984? What the fuck are you smoking? Ride The Lightning, Master Of Puppets, and Justice were pure thrash albums too. You mean 1990, dude

@MasterAtheist Thank you! These fags need to STFU because both bands kick ass
