Yeah. I was at that show. The Aqua Theater was right on the south shore of little Green Lake. It was early 69. That was Zep's first tour in the states. They were hugely well received on their first record but nobody had actually seen them. And they didn't really know their own power yet. I was a young man there with my wife. We'd seen Three Dog Night a couple months before in Anaheim with Steppenwolf. Three Dog Night was kinda pop but they really were performers. They tore up Try a Little Tenderness. But Led Zeppelin was a force of nature. And we thought Steppenwolf was badass but we were unprepared for Led Zeppelin. I sat there with my mouth open the whole time. God, they were great. Later that summer they headlined the Seattle Pop Festival. Three days of music and camping and psychedelic substances like Woodstock. By that time Led Zeppelin had found their groove. The Doors played before them and got booed off the stage. Morrison was drunk and cussing out the people who didn't get him. They yelled back, "Fucker! Bring on the Zeppelin!" I'm so glad I got to experience that spring and summer in this lifetime. It was the real deal. Nobody lip synched nothin'. Ha! I don't remember the Fifth Dimension.

We Brits call jeans, 'jeans'. Trousers are 'pants' or 'slacks'.

Heart is referring to LZ for the year of 1968. Ann was 18 and Nancy 14 on the night they saw Zeppelin. Nancy sneaked in with a fake ID. Ann was old enough legally to be allowed. Led Zeppelin had just started a few months earlier as a group in June of 68. So Ann and Nancy saw them at the very beginning. Thumbs up this comment so that others can see this info.

When I first heard the Lemon Song I thought it was about an aggressive way to make lemonaide. Sincerely, actress Betty White.

Thank you "putte2006" for the cross check , I gotta always give props to Nancy and Ann . Three Dog Night and Zep made the day unforgettable . Also , These two girls are like no one else . They are a big part of my life . I've shared some special times with them . They are as down to earth as it gets and have been keeping it real for a long time .

Heart was one group of a very, very few that sounded as good as or better live than their albums - saw them several times and am so glad they finally have taken their rightful place in the R/R HOF - congrats girls and thanks for the memories

I saw them at the little Aqua Theater on little Green Lake in Seattle , Washington . Tickets were about $ 4.00 . . 80 degree's Summer day outside and Three Dog Night was the "A" band that had to play after Zep . Whenever I hear "Good Times Bad Times " or "Dazed And Confused" in taken right back to that very spot .

Thanks for reading my comment . There were only a few concerts at the Aqua Theater on Green Lake . Due to a residential outcry , concerts like Zeppelin , Grateful Dead , who also played within weeks apart and the Bite Of Seattle proved to be too loud . I will never forget the show .

True she did, but the Aqua Theater was on Green lake, when it was shut down I used to fish from the dock when a kid. I always wondered what it would have been like to see them playing on the water.

60s surf music is good too. Ann says the venue was on Lake Washington not Green Lake.

I like to hear more stories about Ann and Nancy from the late 1960s and less about Ann being hassled for being overweight. They need to talk more about the drugs they did in the late 60s to whenever they quit drugs and talk more about how many different men they dated in their lives and details about the concerts they performed at.Ann went to the Cornish School of Fine Arts but what else did she do during those college years? Small details like this are interesting to know.
