COPA, I "lived" there every weekend during 81/82/83 ... like most saturday nights one weekend they had a life performance, I knew the song but assumed the singer would be some tacky two-hit-wonder disco queen so we made it a point to show up after the live show ... that artist was Madonna usually we'd first go to Backstreet and then to Copaand yes I remember the mens's room and the little shop in the back etc ....

One of the best disco imports from the UK HAzell Dean so underrated sha had some reallt great songs briging back so many memories ..btw i never got to the Copa in Ft Lauderdale at least i dont think so but i did live a few blocks away from it for a few years when i first moved here

first time I ever heard this track was down in florida when I was on spring break in Ft Lauderdale love this one too, I saw her perform live on a small stage at the COpa club in florida back in 1987 was a gay club the best club around had a ball there met a lo t of people down in florida was the best of times my youth hot times the beach sun, and party, never forget thoses days the best....TJ, love you Hazel Dean....your the best, have all your records 12 inch TJ,
