Filmed in December 1985 at the Hammersmith Odeon, 'Chronicle' does more than justice to what was a truly epic performance from the undisputed 'kings of acid-rock overkill'. The narration is provided by Michael Moorcock, whose writings inspired the music and stageshow. Packed with suitably obscure psychodelic images and bizarre OTT stage antics, this RE-ISSUE now includes the 4 track enocore where Michael Moorcock performs onstage with the band.

My fave HLL song. Saw him perform this at Hammersmith in 88, and then I saw HLL solo acoustic gig at the Kings Head pub in Fulham. Everyone cross-legged on the floor and way cool peaceful vibe. What makes it more special is that I recorded both gigs on a Sony Professional walkman, so I can still reminisce9 years ago

I had the privilege of seeing Huw LL on a few occasions. First was Liverpool 87 on the Xenon tour which is one of the best gigs I've ever seen. Huw was such an awesome guitarist, his tone and sense of melody was up there with the best. Great guy, I would have loved to seen him one more time.9 years ago

went to amsterdam in the early 80` to see them play for 2 nites at the mlky way club best i ever saw them, huw was on fire, caught the ferry back with the band what a nice bunch of boys. been following them since 77, met huw 4 times over that period such a layed back guy, beautiful song and recording thanks for upload, takes me back 30 years10 years ago
