I was talking about the album's sound. not so much the lyrical content. Soundwise, it's quite futuristic.

Not so futuristic. This is album about modern society, not some distant future.

Kyle, I don't see any uplifting mood in this (great) song. It's one of the darkest and melancholic songs from Haujobb.

The lyrics carry a very deep meaning, for however you interpret it. For me, this song has to do with the way society is enticing everyone with all these fancy and superficially spectacular things that ultimately lead to conformity. It's also a critical point in the song when the music transitions from melancholic to uplifting along with the inspirational words that state that the only shackles that are holding you back are in your mind. It's actually quite a spiritually uplifting song.

I give this (and all other Haujobb CDs) 5 stars. You can tell that they have a dark, twisted, and surreal imagination that they successfully translate into brilliant music. And they aren't afraid to go in new directions, despite a few people not liking the album (ex. Ninetynine). True fans will remain loyal to the group ;) At least I do.
