Apparently no one seems to have noticed that some of the sounds in this track are identical to the track "Yeah" by Usher. Some would say Usher is a "biter" to use an old expression some may be unfamiliar with. Hashim on the other hand was an originator. Ahead of its time. Needless to say the dance floor went crazy for awesome tunes such as this one.

Still playing this today. Unbeatable. And today they say EDM as if it were the new buzz word. The 80's stateside producers typically were the establishers of EDM in its raw form. Used to go to Groove records in Soho in the early 80's every sunday to buy the latest US imports, then off to Covent Garden for a bout of popping n locking, nice.

I first heard this on a mixed tape I got in a Walgreens bargain bin called Street Sounds. It had Reach Out(Everlasting Lover) by Unlimited Touch, Street Dance by Break Machine, Dinn Daa Daa by George Kranz, If This Ain't Love by Jay Novelle, Somebody Else's Guy by Jocelyn Brown, Rough Cut by Kid Frost TMS, and other great jams.
