This is a strange and stunning piece of work. The "piano has been drinking." And Sinatra, at least for the first half, doesn't seem with it. Then at 1:20, when he gets to " . . . while you linger in my arms . . ." his legato is awesome and the last line is so perfectly delivered I cannot stop playing it over and over again. And to realize, how early in his career this was, . . . well. just wow.
