To the best of my knowledge I dont remember skinheads before 1968.Certainly in Dublin,Cork,Belfast,Derry,Limerick etc none before 1969 and into 1970 originally.Then 1978-79 the revival.met Harley when The Stimulators played Dublin was it 1980.remember him telling us if they dressed skinhead then puerto rican gangs would attack him.He was a tough geezer and only a small lad then but tough as old rope.A good laugh too.Well done Harley stuck with it.A lot of Dublin skins dead and buried,football,drink n drugs etc etc

hardcore, please define. on the west coast, there was punk, various types including hard core (black flag supposedly, but not too hard IMHO, anarcho punk, Naked Aggression, that's hardcore) and metal, then later hardcore metal. Remember, support local music EVEN if its not up to your "standards" of acceptance. Im 42, saw 7seconds at the Livingroom in Providence in 84. Changed it all from there, and am proud to say I paid 5 bucks to see bands that I didnt know, but realized 5 or 10 yrs later they had made our "scene" better.
