I love this song, I don't get why people say it sounds shit. It sounds fucking amazing, its so different, so cool that its just in a league of its own. I listen to this sometimes to remind me not to take life too seriously, cause it'll all work out in the end.

i love the happy mondays dearly, but it sounds awful, its honest though? six lads off a council estate trying to get out, there was only mark day, really who knew what he was doing musically, the others improvised, shaun ryder is'nt as daft as he cracks on, i've met him twice, the whole thing is the honesty, and they got better and better, could'nt have got worser ha ha.

If God was masquarading as six persons and higher than a kite he/she/it would sound much like this.

There are three different recordings of song: two-part version on single (it's called simply as "Freaky Dancin' 1" & "Freaky Dancin' 2" - and this video is the second one), Peel session (F. D. 1) and another copy-limited single (with re-recorded F. D. 2 only)

Funny how Shaun Ryder was so heavily influenced by Joy Division and both bands were fronted by people completely incapable of singing. But it worked.
